Overall goals
We’re building an integration platform for our member Universities to connect with. We have already implemented the creation of Micro Credentials and User Identity, but it’s interesting to see how we align with the framework.
Use Cases
Earn a credential (Use Case 6)
Baseline:
We have implemented the creation and signing of Micro Credentials for our Learners. Right now, we have issued 2500 credentials.

User identity (Use Case 7)
Baseline:
Because Lifelong learning is one of our pillars, we have implemented our own ECIU identities. They are created after the Learner signs in from one of our member Universities in eduGAIN.
We also support external company users, and their identities are created through personal invitations.
Goal:
Implement Freja eID+ as a vetting method to give Learners with a low assurance level (we use Refeds Assurance Framework) the possibility to raise them to a medium account.
Work plan:
Implement Freja eID+ and make a step-up authentication from their ECIU profile.
