About the SPHERE Annual Conference
The conference will reflect on the activities and achievement of NEOs, HERE and SPHERE in 2025, and also discuss priorities for 2026, in view of the national reform processes and needs of the HERE countries, and in consideration of ongoing and forthcoming European Union higher education policy.
Objectives:
Reflect on SPHERE 2025: activities and achievements on themes which have been or will be addressed: AI, micro-credentials, sustainability, and STEM.
- Foster peer learning and networking.
Professional development of NEO and HEREs: Share strategies and good practices
EU update: Present and discuss EU policy updates relevant to higher education, with regards to the Competitiveness Compass, the Union of Skills, the STEM Education Strategy, and the proposal for the 2028-2034 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF)
