As part of the celebrations for Erasmus Days, María Elisa Zenteno Villa and Catalina Herrada Forestani, representatives from the Division of University Education at the Undersecretariat of Higher Education, Ministry of Education of Chile, and Erasmus+ National Focal Points for Chile, actively participated in a key event to promote the program’s opportunities.
Together with the Undersecretariat of Higher Education, they joined the Directors of International Relations Meeting at the University of Chile’s Directorate of International Relations. The session focused on presenting and discussing the various mobility and cooperation opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program, aiming to strengthen academic exchange and foster collaboration between Chilean universities and institutions abroad.
Erasmus Days provided the perfect platform to showcase how Erasmus+ supports student and staff mobility, capacity-building projects, and the development of international academic networks. The involvement of the National Focal Points highlights Chile’s commitment to integrating its higher education institutions into the global academic landscape, leveraging Erasmus+ as a bridge to new possibilities and partnerships.
By connecting Chilean universities with the program’s vast array of opportunities, Zenteno Villa and Herrada Forestani are helping to pave the way for a more interconnected, globally competitive higher education system in Chile.
