The Erasmus Mundus action aims at fostering excellence and worldwide internationalisation of higher education institutions via study programmes – at master course level – jointly delivered and jointly recognised by higher education institutions established in Europe, and open to institutions in other countries of the world.

Erasmus Mundus Design Measures aim to:

  • enhance the capacities of universities to modernise and internationalise their curricula and teaching practices, and pool resources
  • develop common mechanisms in higher education systems, related to quality assurance, accreditation, and recognition of degrees and credits
  • explore and exploit the opportunities offered by the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes.

The documents below provide more information on the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters action. Full information is available in the Erasmus+ programme guide.
