The contract “Centralised Support to the Network of ENFPs” kicked-off in March 2023, and is managed by a dedicated team of experts from PRACSIS srl, a contractor selected by EACEA through an open procurement procedure. The core team is based in Brussels, with Regional Managers in place across the six regions of the project.
The contract provides the Erasmus+ National Focal Points (ENFPs) with tools and activities to facilitate transnational cooperation among them and their peers, upgrade their skills and raise their capacity to inform and support potential beneficiaries of the Erasmus+ programme.
The activities that are being organised during the implementation of the contract include:
- training activities, both as e-learning modules and as interactive sessions (webinars, in situ event sessions)
- networking activities among the ENFPs with their peers in other regions, and with stakeholders in the education sector in and outside Europe
- information and dissemination activities such as info days, to increase the visibility of, and participation in, the Erasmus+ programme.
The project is managed centrally to provide global coherence, but the activities are operated locally in each region by a dedicated Regional Manager. The Regional Managers are the main point of contact for the ENFPs for any question linked to their roles. The Regional Managers are also the main organisers of such events as regional cluster meetings, regional contact-making seminars and monthly community-building meeting among ENFPs. These support activities will contribute to:
- enhancing the competences of the ENFPs network through tailored training programmes and other actions, helping them to acquire and enhance knowledge and skills, and to gain experience useful during their daily work;
- supporting the ENFPs by providing activities and materials that potential beneficiaries will find useful at the project proposal preparation stage, helping to raise the quality of grant applications as well as supporting their capacity to attract newcomers;
- increasing visibility of the ENFP support to potential beneficiaries and stakeholders representing different organisations, sectors and scientific fields. Information provided via various means aims to simplify their access to practical information, knowledge and practices;
- supporting cooperation with other Erasmus+ stakeholders by providing activities and tools to cooperate with Erasmus+ National Agencies, National Erasmus Offices and EU Delegations.
