Within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Support Initiative (EMSI), a Study Visit to Ghent, Belgium will be organised on 11 – 12 March 2026.
The visit is exclusively intended for:
(a) administrative staff of newly selected Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s (EMJM) projects, and
(b) new administrative staff of already running EMJM projects, from both coordinating and partner institutions.
This event is not intended for academic coordinators.
The Study Visit will be hosted by Ghent University, Belgium, the leading institution in Europe in terms of institutional participation as coordinator and full partner in Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters in the period 2004-2023. The visit will facilitate the exchange of good practices in operational administration and broader management of EMJMs, with special focus on four topics that relate to the interplay between central services and the joint study programme: attracting top students worldwide, coordination among full consortium partners, support services to students, and sustainability strategies through partnership development.
