OVERVIEW

The two-day TAM seminar “Implementation of University 4.0 in Algeria” focused on supporting Algerian higher education institutions in understanding and operationalising the concept of University 4.0 as a response to rapid technological, economic, and societal change.

Through keynote presentations, thematic sessions, international case studies, and panel discussions, the seminar examined how universities can evolve towards more agile, digitally enabled, inclusive, and innovation-driven models. The programme combined global perspectives with the Algerian context, allowing participants to reflect on national priorities, institutional readiness, and governance challenges. The seminar concluded with a collective discussion on roadmap development and policy-oriented recommendations for modernising institutional and pedagogical governance in the digital era.
