Objectives of the seminar
Held on 3-4 May via the European Commission Teams, the first SPHERE virtual seminar served as two primary purposes:
- To welcome NEO and HERE Teams, presenting the SPHERE 2023 programme, explaining forthcoming steps and procedures, and contextualising the SPHERE initiative within the EU's policies and priorities.
- To provide HERE participants with a first thematic event, focusing on new developments and trends in digital learning, a theme of transversal relevance to EU and HERE countries as assessed by the SPHERE Consortium (Agenda in Annex I).
Attendance
The seminar was designed for the overall HERE community; 175 participants registered in total, which included representatives from ministries and national agencies, senior management of institutions, academic and administrative personnel, and student representatives.
