ESAA activities

ESAA organises activities that strengthen cooperation, connect individuals across Europe, and support knowledge sharing by offering a dynamic platform for networking and professional development.

Through its main annual events and a wide range of initiatives throughout the year, ESAA creates opportunities for students, alumni and partners to meet, exchange ideas and feel part of a shared global Erasmus+ community.

Bringing the community together through events and initiatives

ESAA brings together students, alumni, higher education institutions and partners through diverse activities that support cooperation, participation and dialogue within the Erasmus+ community and beyond. These include:

  • Conferences and events: Open and specialised events that foster discussion on topics of mobility, education, and international collaboration.
  • Capacity building and training: Workshops and mentoring initiatives designed to assist students and graduates throughout their mobility journeys before, during, and after.
  • Local and regional initiatives: Initiatives and community-based actions at the local and regional scale, making international opportunities more accessible to young people.
  • Participation and engagement: Peer networking, voluntary work, and collaborative projects that deepen ties and encourage active engagement within the network.

The ESAA Annual Meeting is the network’s main annual meeting where the ESAA community meets in person to share experiences, review the year’s activities and discuss the future direction of the network.

ESAA held its 2026 Annual Meeting in Brussels under the theme “Together for ESAA’s future”, bringing together representatives from across the Alliance to reflect on progress and jointly shape the next phase of cooperation.
