EMA is the Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni Association, representing students and graduates of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) programmes worldwide.
Since Erasmus Mundus became part of the Erasmus+ programme, EMA has been a member of the Erasmus+ Students and Alumni Alliance (ESAA). The association supports EMJMD students and alumni, promotes European higher education and connects a global alumni network community through knowledge sharing, networking, events and information sessions around the world.

EMA aims to be a strong, connected, global network for the Erasmus Mundus community.
Its mission is to support academic excellence, professional development and multicultural exchange among Erasmus Mundus students and alumni worldwide.
History
EMA was founded in 2006 as an initiative of the European Commission and registered as an international non-profit association under Belgian law (AISBL) in 2015. Since then, its members have supported Erasmus Mundus students and promoted European higher education globally.
