Erasmus+ Students and Alumni - in Europe and beyond - are among the best ambassadors and promoters of the European Union, of European higher education and other education and training sectors and research, and of European mobility and cooperation programmes.
Student and Alumni Networks offer a vibrant community, a space to grow and opportunities to stay connected internationally. They also contribute to create and strengthen relations between the European Union and its partner countries in the world.
Currently the Erasmus+ International Student and Alumni Networks are supported by a services framework contract (FWC) until mid-2028:
- Provision of Services for Erasmus+ International Students and Alumni Networks
- Call of tender reference EACEA/2022/OP/0014
Through this framework contract, the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) supports the Erasmus+ International Student and Alumni Networks including educational staff - from around the world who have participated in EU mobility actions, namely:
- the Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance (ESAA), an umbrella alliance, and its four partner organisations:
- the Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni Association (EMA),
- the Organisation for Cooperation, Exchange And Networking among Students (OCEANS Network),
- the Erasmus Student Network (ESN)
- garagErasmus (gE);
- the Regional Alumni Associations for EU higher education learning mobility programmes in the Western Balkans and Africa respectively:
- the Western Balkans Alumni Association (WBAA)
- the African Students and Alumni Forum (ASAF).
The common objectives of the Erasmus+ International Student and Alumni Networks are to:
- Support international mobility and make opportunities accessible to students and alumni
- Build strong and inclusive communities that connect people across regions and cultures
- Strengthen members’ skills, employability and professional growth
- Encourage knowledge sharing, collaboration and the exchange of good practices
- Contribute to improving and modernising higher education systems
- Foster intercultural understanding and active global engagement
