Rovaniaina Briand Randriatsaramiafara is a senior agronomist engineer specialising in crop protection and quality management. In 2015, he joined the Intra‑ACP mobility programme Partenariat inter‑universitaire entre l’Afrique et l’Océan Indien pour le Développement (PAFROID) at the University of Mauritius, where he pursued studies in industrial engineering and management.
This experience broadened his perspective on agricultural value chains and industrial quality systems, strengthening a systems‑level approach to post‑harvest quality and scalable quality assurance.
Throughout his career, Rovaniaina has led integrated pest management initiatives, implemented quality management frameworks aligned with Good Agricultural Practices, and coordinated cross‑disciplinary teams to enhance crop health and marketability.
