The Organisation for Cooperation, Exchange and Networking: Student & Alumni (OCEANS Network) held its Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM) from 12 to 14 July at the Hermitage Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic.
The event brought together over 50 representatives from across the world to discuss international student mobility programmes and future initiatives. It provided a space to exchange ideas, address new challenges and lay out future activities, while fostering cultural exchange and networking. This reinforced OCEANS' commitment to fostering international cooperation among students, alumni and educational institutions.
The programme featured various panel discussions and interactive debates on the evolving responsibilities of OCEANS members and the success of past projects, engagement with Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance (ESAA) and future directions and projects of OCEANS initiatives.
At the 2024 OCEANS Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting, members reflected on the value of coming together as a global community, highlighting the soft skills gained and the strong academic and professional networks built. The AGM was recognised as a key moment to reconnect, exchange insights and discuss shared priorities, while shaping future initiatives and engaging new alumni.
