The Regional Erasmus+ Cluster Meeting and Contact-Making Seminar 2026 for Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 23 and 24 November 2026, and will also be available to participate in online.
The event is part of the Regional Erasmus+ Week for Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific, organised by the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) of the European Commission and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
Cluster Meeting
The meeting will gather higher education plus vocational education and training institutions from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific, which are already active in the Erasmus+ programme or potentially interested in developing cooperation under this scheme. Participants will be joined by stakeholders involved in the implementation and promotion of the Erasmus+ programme, such as the Erasmus+ National Focal Points from Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific, Erasmus+ National Agencies, European Union Delegations from the three regions, the European Commission and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency.
This year’s event will address the role of Erasmus+ in Developing Skills for the Future. The cluster meeting gives opportunities to showcase successful Erasmus+ mobility and cooperation projects, linking European, Asian, Middle Eastern and Pacific educational institutions, and focusing on the transversal programme priority “Sustainable growth and jobs”.
Contact-making sessions
Online and in-situ speed-networking and contact-making sessions will enable participants to meet and engage with each other, with a view to forming project partnerships.
